How did I get here?
As a serial entrepreneur and hobbyist, I understand how challenging business finances can be. As my hobbies grew into businesses, eventually I ran into a problem: the dreaded IRS notice. Suddenly, I couldn’t DIY my business finances and needed real help.
The help I received from a kind and supportive tax expert helped grow my business even further (and survive the IRS notice). Years later, after a lot of learning, that supportive expert encouraged the launch of this business as well. (We may have even bought a house together, but that’s another story!)
That’s why kindness and clarity are at the heart of Arpoika Tax Services. I started from making mistakes and not knowing, as everyone does. If you’ve ever found yourself overwhelmed by taxes, bookkeeping, or even just the terminology–the worries stop here.

I wear most of the hats in the office because Ava won’t wear hats. My roles include founder, tax preparer, bookkeeper (internal and external), web designer, customer service, and more.
Ava Dale
Ava Dale is our pawffice manager, taking her role very seriously in between naps.
I’ve been working closely with Ava for over a decade. She’s an expert at slowing down, thinking things through, and stealing chairs.
